2009 CALIFORNIA MILLE

I was on the east coast the past few days and ended up missing the California Mille this year. After looking through the photos at bringatrailer it looks like I picked a bad year to miss. I've been to 2 of them and the field from 2009 was definitely the strongest I've seen...or the most interesting to me. We'll be heading back in 2010.

Life Worth Living

Nick from A Time to Get made this post which I can't get out of my head. I like surfing, and I like motorcycles but the way they are doing things just registers on a whole other level. I'm inspired and I applaud them for living a life worth living. I've been changed for the better.

Coachella Sunday Was Mean

Murder City Devils Were Great. Best set of the day for me. The rest of the crew put in votes for My Bloody Valentine and Brian Jonestown Massacre but I couldn't be swayed. Fun full day of music. We only checked the festival on Sunday so we did our best to take it all in.

Race Day Saturday

Last Saturday my buddy Eric had a "hot tip" on a horse running the Kentucky Derby qualifier at Santa Anita. Off we go thinking about how to spend our winnings only to find out the horse had scratched due to a morning injury. I took it as a sign since any horse that can't warm up properly for sure can't hold em off in the back straight. We left with empty pockets and smiles. It was so fun that I'm thinking of heading up today to win it all back. Gotta love betting the ponies.

You've Seen It...I Know

Me too. I watched the video last week on both Michael's and Jay's sites and thought it was great. How great I didn't realize until tonight at a bonfire here in LA. As soon as I started to hear talking this played in my head and I optioned out with a walk back to a friend's and some sleep on the couch. Thank you Maine for my quiet night. It was good.

Getting It

I've never assumed I get it. If I had to pick someone who I hope is the one that does, I hope that it's Dallas.

The Kellison

I love kit cars. I actually used to have a replica porsche speedster that was without question the most fun I've ever had with a vehicle. Something you aren't afraid to scratch, drive and enjoy.
